Latourell Falls - Oregon

Today I took the family on a hike to see some of Oregon's beautiful waterfalls. Latourell Falls is actually one of Oregon's three tallest falls with a height of 249 feet.

A short hike from the parking lot will bring you down to the base of the falls.

After viewing this beautiful waterfall, we headed up the trail to the upper falls. The hike was pretty steep, but the kids did great. After traveling about a mile up the mountain through some of the most georgeous forest, you reach the upper falls. I'll have to post pictures of the upper falls another time. I didn't get any good shots, which is a shame because I liked the upper falls much better. Maybe next time I'll bring my tripod up.

West Coast Game Park Safari - Bandon, OR

Over the July 4th weekend, we were lucky enough to visit this awesome wildlife petting park down in Bandon Oregon. Goats, llamas, peacocks, and dear roam around the park while you view the other wildlife in their cages.

These pictures were taken with my Canon DRebel XT with the EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens.

Myles Baker - 1 month

Myles was born on October 5, 2009. He is number 26 of my 27 nieces and nephews. He is such a cute little guy. These pictures were taken for his blessing on November 1, 2009 outside his home.





This one just makes me laugh. I love it!

When Amy asked me to take their pictures, I thought that the Mesa Arts Center would be a great location. This is one of my favorite places to take pictures as there are many great backdrops available. Thanks Mike and Amy for letting me take your pictures!

It had been awhile since doing a photo shoot, but I think that these turned out pretty well. It was nice to get back into photography after taking a little break.
